El Stamples Center de Los Ángeles tuvo una vez más la entrega de los Premios Grammy 2016, una noche donde Taylor Swift (3 galardones, incluidos Mejor Álbum del Año y Mejor Álbum Pop Vocal), Bruno Mars (2 premios a Mejor Disco del Año y Mejor Actuación Dúo o Grupo), la banda Alabama Shakes (3 galardones, incluidos Mejor Canción de Rock y Mejor Álbum de Música Alternativa) y el rapero Kendrick Lamar (3 premios, que incluyen Mejor Álbum de Rap y Mejor Actuación de Rap) fueron los grandes ganadores.
La 58º entrega además contó además con actuaciones de Adele, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, entre otros y hubo homenajes especiales a Lionel Richie, Michael Jackson y uno que tuvo a Lady Gaga en un extraordinario tributo a David Bowie.
